About me
I am a student of Deakin University, currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. My course at Deakin is the Bachelor of Criminology / Bachelor of Cybersecurity, in which I am undertaking my first year of study.
Aside from studying at university, my other pursuits include Lacrosse, food and cooking, weightlifting and music. I am currently playing for Melbourne University’s Lacrosse team despite going to Deakin! Before I came to Deakin I completed my VCE at Brunswick Secondary College.
My career aspirations currently lie in Public Relations and Media Communication. Particularly, I can see myself in a Public Relations Management position where I would be able to utilize my strong people skills in order to engage with a large network. To take care of the technical side of this role, I will use my knowledge of technology and communication theory garnered from studying IT and Media.

DeakinTalent has allowed me to start building a connection with the IT and Criminology Communities at Deakin University. My main purpose so far with DeakinTalent has been to seek out people who have experiences on their profile that I am interested in career-wise. As someone who constantly pursues different aspirations this has helped me to narrow things down. For example, I spoke with someone on DeakinTalent about their work in the hospitality industry (a previous interest) and what had made them choose to begin studying Cybersecurity rather than continue as a chef.
